Preds Gearing Up For Game 4 In Smashville

The Nashville Predators are getting ready to take on the St. Louis Blues for Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

The team is undefeated at home this postseason after sweeping the Chicago Blackhawks in the first round.

At one point, the Preds were the only unbeaten team in the playoffs - until losing to the Blues on Friday in St. Louis. But the team rebounded Sunday, winning at home.

A win Tuesday night would put the Preds up 3-1 with another away game Friday.

They're just two wins away from their first conference final.

Nashville is becoming more and more of a hockey town. Sunday’s game announcers called Bridgestone Arena a "bucket list item” for hockey fans.

The Preds also earned the highest-ever local TV ratings for the game with roughly 100,000 people tuning in to the broadcast, according to NewsChannel 5 programming and research director Mark Binda.

The puck drops at 8:30 p.m. and not surprisingly, the game is sold out.
