NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — The Nashville Predators are about to embark on a four-game, six-day road trip and Coach John Hynes says they're doing what they can to say safe and healthy amid concerns of the new coronavirus strain.
The team will fly charter to Montreal, Toronto, Columbus, Ohio and Saint Paul, Minnesota.
"We are doing as much as we can on the planes with washing our hands and making sure they're attentive to those things. You try to be on guard. Everyone has to take a personal responsibility to it. We don't know where it'll go, league mandate-wise, but we'll control what we can control," said Coach John Hynes.
Canada's government says nearly 70 cases are confirmed there.
