MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - Over 100 families have been told to move out of a local public housing complex.
The Murfreesboro Housing Authority has received permission to demolish all 140 apartments at the Franklin Heights housing complex on Bridge Avenue.
Residents were told they have until the end of the year to find new housing.
They have also been informed they can either move to another vacant residence owned by the housing authority or get a voucher to help pay for a privately owned apartment.
Franklin Heights was built in the 1950's. So far there have been no plans to rebuild.
