Public's Help Needed In Hit And Run Case

Posted

Investigators with the Metro Nashville Police Department asked for the public's help in their continued search for a hit and run suspect.

It happened Oct. 17 around 6:45 p.m. when a man was crossing McGavock Pike.

David A. Lloyd, 55, was crossing from the west side of the street when an SUV hit him. He was critically injured.

Investigators found that the vehicle involved was likely a 2000-2004 Honda Passport or Isuzu Rodeo of unknown color.

There may be damage to the SUV’s front bumper/hood area and possibly undercarriage. The damage may or may not be extensive. The SUV may still be missing the driver’s side mirror since a large driver’s side mirror was recovered at the crash site.

Lloyd remained at Vanderbilt University Medical Center where he continued to receive treatment for a serious head injury.

Anyone with information about the vehicle and/or its driver was asked to call Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463.
