Puppies that were dropped off at the Mount Juliet fire department are almost ready for adoption.
A resident dropped off the five puppies over the weekend, and after their short stay at the station, the folks at Mount Juliet Animal Care and Control picked them up.
The firefighters named them Blaze, Probie, Siren, Sarge, and Pierce. They are being evaluated by a vet.
Animal Care and Control will start accepting adoption applications for the puppies starting July 9.
