The school system confirmed Sunday that schools will resume a normal schedule tomorrow.

Emergency Management officials said one bus route will be affected by the work being done on a portion of Highway 70. New drop-off and pick-up points for students on Bus 85 have been created.

School officials said they will have additional counseling support for students and staff. Those needing these resources can let any teacher or staff member know.

"Recovery from last week's devastating storms will take weeks, months, and even years for some. For many, part of the healing process includes returning to a normal routine," the school system said on Facebook.

"For those that have suffered a significant loss, we want you to know that your school community is ready to support you and your family however possible."
