NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Members of the group "Silent No Longer TN" and "The People’s Plaza" held a rally at Legislative Plaza addressing the allegations of sexual misconduct and discrimination within the Metro Nashville Police Department.

Former MNPD officer Greta McClain created the group "Silent No Longer" and says she found more than two dozen current and former MNPD employees who say they've been sexually assaulted, harassed or discriminated against.

Nashville Mayor John Cooper has called for an investigation into the allegations, calling them "deeply concerning." Interim Police Chief John Drake said MNPD also joined the mayor in asking for an independent TBI investigation of an allegation of sexual assault by one employee in 2016.
