NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — A multi-agency recovery effort is underway at Four Corner's Marina on Percy Priest Lake for a man who drowned on Saturday.
Officials say a 41-year-old man jumped in the water along with others to help a child. The child is safe, but the man never surfaced.
Another man who tried to save the drowning victim is also being treated for injuries.
The search continues today with crews using sonar to attempt to located the missing near an island in the middle of the lake. Divers are on standby in the event the body is located.
