MURRAY, Ky. – Officials have made an arrest in connection with the murders of a Calloway County family. The bodies of four victims were found after a fire at their house.
Kentucky State Police said they have arrested 21-year-old Pacheco Arellano from Mayfield Kentucky. Arellano was related to the family, although details of the relationship were not available.
Killed in the fire were 24-year-old Marisol Hernandez, her 29-year-old husband Bulmaro Arellano and their two children, a 5-year-old boy and an 18-month-old girl.
On November 17 around 10 p.m., crews responded to a fire at the home on Kentucky 121 South, about a half mile from the Murray City limits.
Investigators determined the fire was intentionally set.
