NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Authorities said a dog has been killed in an apartment fire that also involved one person jumping from a balcony.
The fire happened Friday evening at a two-story apartment complex in the 200 block of Bridgeway Circle.
Officials said one person jumped from a balcony to escape the fire, but that person was not in need of medical attention and was not taken to the hospital.
One dog died and a cat was rescued from the flames.
Officials said crews were able to get the fire under control and put it out. No further details were available.
