CELINA, Tenn. (WTVF) — Clay County Emergency Management posted on Saturday around 5:30 p.m. that any resident who lives along River Road should consider evacuating soon.

There is an Emergency Shelter set up at Cumberland River Hospital for those who need a safe place to go.

Evacuees are advised to bring all needed medications and medical equipment they may need from their homes and to the shelter.

An animal shelter is also being set up currently at City of Celina, 1075 River Ave.

The CCEM says that choosing to not evacuate does not guarantee that they will be able to reach everyone safely in the future to retrieve them.
