NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A ribbon cutting ceremony was held Wednesday for the Catholic Charities of Tennessee Sewing Training Academy.
The academy was the product of a partnership that was intended to bring skilled workers to a growing industry in Music City.
The center was built through a partnership between the Catholic Charities, The Nashville Fashion Alliance and Omega Apparel.
It was designated as a place to train workers for skilled positions in the apparel manufacturing industry.
