A portion of South Carothers in Williamson County has been closed due to a gas leak.
The road was closed in both directions Wednesday afternoon, between Murfreesboro Road and the Falcon Creek Subdivision.
It was unclear how long the closure will be in effect, but so far, no evacuations had to be made.
