CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — A company that provides roadside assistance plans to add 900 jobs over five years in an expansion in Tennessee.

The state Department of Economic and Community Development says Agero plans to invest $2 million to expand in Clarksville by almost 14,000 square feet. The company first set up operations in Montgomery County in 2012 and now has about 750 employees in Clarksville. Agero has a second Tennessee facility in the Tri-Cities area.

Agero is a business-to-business provider of driver assistance services, including roadside assistance and accident management. The company responds to about 12 million requests for roadside and accident help annually.
