NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A search is underway in Nashville for an armed robbery suspect who forced employees at a fast food restaurant into a freezer.
The incident happened around 10 p.m. Tuesday at a Captain D's on Gallatin Pike.
Officials with Metro police said the suspect followed an employee into the business and went into the bathroom.
At some point, the armed suspect walked back in and demanded money from the register and safe.
The robber locked the employees in a freezer, and was able to get away with an unknown amount of money.
No one was hurt during the robbery.
He was described as being a black male, standing around 6-feet 1-inches tall with dreadlocks and gold teeth. He was also wearing a hoodie.
Anyone with information was asked to call Metro police at 74-CRIME.
