NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Nashville's Rock 'N' Roll event has once again been postponed.

After canceling the 2020 event, organizers have decided to postpone this year's race in April with hopes of rescheduling it in the fall. The decision was made due to the current impacts of COVID-19.

"Through all the challenges of 2020, our community has endured, especially you, our Rock ‘n’ Roll Nashville participants who have continued to stick with us through multiple event updates," officials from Rock 'n' Roll said in a letter to participants. "Despite this latest setback, we remain positive about the road ahead and feel confident about the positioning of our Fall Rock ‘n’ Roll event schedule as the distribution of vaccinations increase and restrictions begin to further ease."

Because Nissan Stadium will be used as a venue for the event, the new date will be dependent on the Tennessee Titans' home schedule.
