NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — The Nashville music venue Rocketown partnered with local organizations to give meals to those in need this Thanksgiving.
The ministries will hand out 700 free meals at the 4th Avenue South location. The drive-thru event lasted from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, or until they ran out of meals.
No sign up was required, and no questions were asked. Organizers said the Omni Hotel had a huge role to play in the event.
Rocketown planned to give any leftovers to people in public housing.
