A man was taken to the hospital after he was allegedly shot by his roommate
Officials with the Metro Nashville Police Department were called to a house on Dellrose Drive just after 6 a.m. Sunday.
A man told investigators he thought someone was breaking into his home, and he fired several shots.
It turned out the man he shot wasn't an intruder. He was his roommate.
The victim was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center with multiple gunshot wounds.
He was last listed in critical but stable condition
Authorities said the man who shot his roommate was speaking to police and cooperating.
The investigation remained ongoing.
