Runaway Murfreesboro Teen Found Safe

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Police in Murfreesboro have located and taken a runaway teen into custody without incident.

Police asked the public’s help in locating a 14-year-old runaway who was previously seen last week. 

Officials with Murfreesboro police said Tabytha Collins left her residence on Antebellum Drive on Wednesday, September 2. 

According to police, she suffers from Bipolar Disorder and has not been taking her medicine. They said she has a history of suicidal thoughts.

Collins has been entered into the National Crime Information Center as a runaway. 

She was described as being 5-feet 3-inches tall, weighs between 150-170 pounds and has red hair with green eyes. Police said she has cutting scars on her forearm.
