MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WTVF) — Rutherford County Sheriff's detectives have asked for the public's help in their search for persons of interest in a shooting case.
Officials say the people in this truck may have information about the shooting, that injured a woman on Veterans Parkway on April 23. They believe another driver on the road shot at the woman's vehicle, sending her to the 42-year-old to the hospital.
The people in the truck are believed to know crucial details to the investigation.
“We believe this vehicle may have been in the immediate area at the time of the shooting and we would greatly like to identify the occupants and talk with them about what they may have seen,” said Detective Jamin Humphress.
The victim's family has offered a $4,000 reward and Crime Stoppers has offered a reward up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the shooter.
