RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Tenn. (WTVF) — Lamar 'L.J.' Hinton, Jr. - who went missing out of Rutherford County on April 30 - was found safe Tuesday. He has been returned home.
17-year-old Hinton was believed to have been a runaway when he went missing several months ago, according to Rutherford County Sheriff's Office (RCSO).
Tips ultimately led deputies from Rutherford County and Coffee County to a home in Beech Grove, where he was found.
Hinton appeared to be well taken care of at the home in Beech Grove.
"I thank everyone for the leads and tips," RCSO Detective Andrea Knox said. "Those tips and leads were successful in getting L.J. returned home to Rutherford County."
RCSO did not give details as to where or with whom Hinton was found.
