RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Tenn. (WTVF) — Rutherford County's mayors have formed a task force for the COVID-19 pandemic, Rutherford County Public Safety Director Chris Clark announced.
The task force was formed through the communication between the mayors, comprising Rutherford County Mayor Bill Ketron, Murfreesboro Mayor Shane McFarland, Smyrna Mayor Mary Esther Reed, La Vergne Mayor Jason Cole and Eagleville Mayor Chad Leeman.
The formation of the task force has resulted in the activation of the Rutherford County emergency operations center (EOC). The EOC helps to facilitate resource management, information sharing and response planning.
