One child was taken to an area hospital after a school bus crash in South Nashville.
The incident was reported at 7:49 a.m. Wednesday at Vultee Boulevard and Murfreesboro Pike.
An officer at the scene said the bus was merging onto Murfreesboro Pike when a driver rear-ended it.
Three Pre-K children were on the bus at the time. One child said she hit her head and was taken to Monroe Carroll Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt, where she was later released.
Neither driver was hurt. Both the bus and vehicle were able to drive away from the scene.
