Pop star, Taylor Swift and radio host, Ryan Seacrest cut the ribbon at Vanderbilt’s Monroe Carrell Jr. Children's Hospital opening of the Seacrest Studios.

Hospital officials and patients celebrated the opening of the new multimedia broadcast studio inside the hospital.

The studio gives kids a chance to learn about media and broadcasting during their stay at Vanderbilt Children's - a place where they can either be the star, or meet the stars.

Former Nashvillian Taylor Swift stopped by the opening to share her excitement of the opening.

"What I see what I come here is the doctors, the nurses, the staff are so, so committed to making this a more fun experience,” said Swift. "This is happening in Nashville, can you imagine the artists and the songwriters and entertainers that will be stopping by the hospital?”

"It takes a lot of us to get these things to come to fruition but they're so exciting and when they come to life they are truly amazing,” Seacrest.

Seacrest opened the studio with the help of partners like the Academy of Country Music and Coca-Cola.  It's his 10th studio in the nation.
