NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A search is underway in south Nashville for a home invasion suspect.
The incident happened Wednesday afternoon on Glencliff Court.
Officials with Metro Police said a suspect knocked on the door of the residence and claimed he was looking for someone.
A woman who came to the door got on the phone to make a call, when the suspect knocked the phone out of her hand. She was home alone with her child at the time and is three-months pregnant.
The suspect stole her cell phone and fled in an older model blue Toyota.
No additional details were known.
