An early-morning raid at a Rutherford County home has been linked to an ongoing investigation involving the alleged solicitation of a minor, police said.
A large police presence was reported Tuesday morning at a home off Highway 231 in Murfreesboro.
Detectives served a search warrant at a residence on Shade Court. Murfreesboro police said they were searching for evidence regarding the solicitation of a minor.
Investigators were seen removing several boxes, computers and other electronic media from the home. Those items would be submitted for forensic examination.
A misdemeanor citation was issued to one person for simple possession of marijuana.
The investigation remained ongoing.
