Juvenile Crime Task Force officers took Jeroy Green III, 17, into custody a short time ago at a Straightway Avenue residence. Green will be charged in Juvenile Court with criminal homicide. Brian Thompson, 15, is already charged in the case.
Calvert was shot and killed on Sept. 28. Officials say the believe murder occurred during a robbery.
Green was arrested for aggravated robbery on November 13, 2017, and was ultimately placed into the custody of the Department of Children’s Services (DCS). At the time of the murder, Green was under orders to wear an electronic monitor and to keep it charged. The monitor apparently was not charged as of September 15, prompting DCS to seek a probation violation charge on October 2.
