CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — The Tennessee Highway Patrol has identified a tractor trailer driver, who was killed on Interstate 24 in Montgomery County.

The incident was reported around 3:25 p.m. Monday in westbound lanes at mile marker 13.

THP officials said Ken Gonzalez, of Laredo, Texas, was traveling in the left lane when his left front tire blew out. The semi veered off the left side of the roadway and came to rest in the wood line.

The semi had been hauling automotive parts.

The issue didn’t fully clear until early Tuesday morning.
