COLUMBIA, Tenn. (WTVF) — A tractor trailer hauling thousands of pounds of mail crashed on Interstate 65 in Maury County, causing a delay for commuters.
The incident happened around 5:30 a.m. Tuesday in southbound lanes at mile marker 41, just south of Columbia.
Tennessee Highway Patrol troopers confirmed the truck was hauling 20,000-30,000 pounds of mail when it jackknifed.
The left lane of the interstate remains blocked and it's expected to reopen until 8 a.m. No injuries were reported.
