NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Several people were injured in an early morning crash north of Nashville.
The incident was reported around 3 a.m. Tuesday, at mile marker 18 on Briley Parkway.
Officials with Metro Police said an SUV carrying a group of people veered off the side of the road and drove down an embankment.
At least one infant and three or four children were asleep in the back of the vehicle at the time of the crash.
They were taken to an area hospital, where they’re all expected to recover.
No additional details were known.
