MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WTVF) — Police have reported that one person has died after a shooting at the Greystone Apartments in Murfreesboro on Saturday night.
Currently there is very little information known about the incident. It is thought that the shooting occurred after a dispute occurred between two acquaintances. This led to one of the individuals shooting several times grazing the other person's neck.
A third man then became involved, chasing down the gunman and shooting him several times, killing him.
Police also reported that a small child was nearby during the shooting.
This case is still under investigation.
