1 Killed In Shooting Near Austin Peay State University

A suspect has been on the run following a fatal shooting near Austin Peay State University. 

The shooting happened around 4 p.m. Friday on Kraft Street near the gas pumps at Brothers Market -- also called the In and Out Market.

The victim was taken to the hospital and pronounced dead. On Saturday, he was identified as 39-year-old Detrick D. Mosley, of Clarksville.

Authorities said the suspect fled down Summer Street toward APSU’s campus.

One person who fled has been in contact with police, and officials confirmed they're following leads on a person of interest. The investigation remained ongoing.
