4 Arrested In Murfreesboro Fatal Shooting

Four people have been arrested after a shooting in Murfreesboro claimed the life of a 27-year-old man. 

At 5:47 p.m. Wednesday, Murfreesboro police were called to Old Lascassas Road for a report of a gunshot victim inside a home.

Dylan Biddle Jr. was treated at the scene and taken to St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Shortly after the first call, police also responded to an area along Greenland Drive where another gunshot victim had walked to get help. 

Police said 20-year-old Albert Mustapha was treated at the scene before being taken to the hospital. He was later transferred to Vanderbilt University Medical Center and was last listed in critical condition.

Through an ongoing investigation, officials interviewed three possible suspects, and they were all subsequently charged with first degree murder for their involvement in Biddle's death.

Those suspects have been identified as 20-year-old Lesean Janell Savage, 19-year-old Kyle Fugett, and 23-year-old Chasitie Smith. They were being held at the Rutherford County Sheriff's Office without bond.

Mustapha was released from the hospital on Monday, July 2, and arrested for his involvement in the attempted robbery and death of Biddle. He was charged with 1st Degree Murder and was held without bond at the Rutherford County Sherriff’s Department.
