Drive-by shooting suspect targeted wrong house, police say

HENDERSONVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — A man arrested in connection with a drive-by shooting in Hendersonville targeted the wrong house, according to police.

The shooting happened Friday night at a home on Lake Terrace Drive. Hendersonville police responded around 9:15 p.m. after someone fired shots into the home and a vehicle.

No one was hurt in the incident.

Police later arrested 24-year-old Anthony Privitera in the case. He was charged with one count of attempted first-degree murder.

According to investigators, Privitera was targeting a person he mistakenly thought lived at the home. The actual residents were not the intended targets.
