FRANKLIN, Tenn. – A Silver Alert has been canceled after an 80-year-old woman who went missing was found by a Good Samaritan.
The person decided to check on a car that pulled onto a remote property near Old Hillsboro Road. Jean Myrick was inside.
The Silver Alert was issued Tuesday just a couple hours earlier after Myrick - who suffers from dimentia - drove off unexpectedly from CoolSprings Galleria in Franklin.
The woman who found Myrick told authorities she just felt something wasn't quite right after seeing the vehicle drive onto the property. She called police and then stayed with Myrick to make sure she was safe until authorities arrived.
Officials said Myrick was uninjured and doing "just fine."
