NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Franklin Police said the use of the fire department's thermal imaging equipment was "instrumental" in helping to find a missing woman with dementia early Monday morning.

According to police, 71-year-old Shirley Tucker walked away from Grace Healthcare on West Main Street. She was found alive later in a nearby creek bed, with the help of thermal imaging equipment used by the Franklin Fire Department.

A Williamson County Emergency Management K9 also helped with the search.
