Silver Alert Issued For Mt. Juliet Man

The Silver Alert issued out of Mt. Juliet for a 76-year-old man with a health and mental disability was canceled after he was found safe.

According to the Mt. Juliet Police Department James R. Laster, Sr. left his home around 7:30 a.m. Tuesday, and did not return.

A family member found Laster Tuesday night in Chapel Hill, Tennessee.

Officials said It is very unusual for Mr. Laster to be away from home, and was believed to be in danger because of his disability.

Laster was described as 5’8” tall, weighing 206 lbs, has hazel eyes, and is bald with some gray hair.

He left his residence in a 2001 Red Chevrolet Silverado truck, bearing Tennessee Plate 620MLP.
