NASHVILLE, Tenn. - When the Predators made the Stanley Cup Finals last season, Three Dogs Bakery owner Leslie Kessinger knew she needed a way for her own pup to join in the celebration.
"Last year we had penguins treats. and we had people coming in to smash the penguins," Kessinger said.
This year, Kessinger is baking smash Jets along with miniature Predators jerseys with players' names on the back, faux-chocolate covered hockey pucks and more.
All treats are made with ingredients that are safe for dogs to eat.
"We just want to go the extra mile to make this really fun," Kessinger said.
Additionally, Three dogs Bakery has Preds pet apparel in stock, including bandanas, jerseys and collars.
Kessinger said she hopes the team knows all of Nashville and the city's pets are cheering them on.
"We know that there is magic there and we believe in you and Nashville is so behind you," she said. "I hope they feel it all the way in Winnipeg. We can't wait for another win, we're so excited."
Three Dog Bakery has locations in Franklin and Mount Juliet. They will continue to make Predators themed treats as long as the team is on the ice this season.
