NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Smashvillans are being invited to once again join in festivities at the Preds Party in the Park outdoor viewing parties beginning this week.
The first of these celebrations will be held Wednesday, April 10 and Saturday, April 13 for games one and two of the 2019 NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs.
These viewing parties, along with viewing parties for all home playoff games will be held at Music City Walk of Fame Park, located across Fifth Avenue from Bridegstone Arena.
The parties are both open and free to the public and will begin two hours prior to game times.
There will be a large video screen that will show the game. Additionally DJs will play, and food trucks and hot dog vendors will be on site with water, soda, and beer for sale.
“The excitement and energy of the viewing parties have been embraced by Nashville and Preds fans over the last couple of years, and we can’t wait for the tradition to continue this year,” said Butch Spyridon, president and CEO of the Nashville Convention & Visitors Corp.

Preds Party for Round 1
Game 1: Wednesday, April 10, Dallas Stars at Predators at Bridgestone Arena. Activations start at 6:30 p.m. Puck drops at 8:30 p.m.
Game 2: Saturday, April 13, Dallas Stars at Predators at Bridgestone Arena. Activations start at 3 p.m. Puck drops at 5 p.m.
Game 5 (if necessary): Saturday, April 20, Dallas Stars at Predators at Bridgestone Arena. Time TBD
