Social Media Helps Nab Alleged Fast Food Robber

Authorities were able to arrest an alleged robber after identifying her through social media. 

According to an affidavit from Metro Nashville Police, 24-year-old Paige Hammonds walked into an Arby's on Murfreesboro Pike back on May 9 and held employees at gunpoint. 

A police report said she not only took cash from the register, but also robbed the employees of their belongings.

During the investigation, Hammonds was identified as a person of interest. Officers were able to locate her through social media.

Hammonds reportedly had the same clothing she wore during the alleged robbery in pictures on her Facebook page. She was arrested on a charge of aggravated robbery.

Officers were also able to identify her alleged getaway driver through social media, as well. The suspect, identified as Felix Matos, was also charged with aggravated robbery.
