MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – A social worker in Murfreesboro has been charged with solicitation of a minor.
Agents with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation said undercover investigators responded to a website advertisement posted by a man who said he was looking to have sex with a teenage girl.
An agent posing as a teenage girl set up a meeting with the man, identified as 27-year-old Brandon Sopko, in a parking lot Thursday, which was when he was arrested.
Sopko has been working at Cedar Grove in Murfreesboro, a facility that has served sexually reactive and sexually abusive males, ages 10 to 18, who have behavioral and mental health issues.
