NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Some well-known songwriters were celebrating as the next VIP's to be inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame.
People like Mark James, Even Stevens, Craig Wiseman and Rosanne Cash were inducted Thursday.
Cash wasn't there in person, but she made a video appearance.
The big ceremony has been set for October at the Music City Center.
“I am blessed, I am so blessed to have a few awards on the mantle, but nothing – nothing - will ever equal this,” said Wiseman.
These inductees have been behind some big hits, including songs that were written for artists ranging from Elvis Presley to Kenny Chesney.
