NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — A new mural has popped up in the middle of South Nashville, one of the areas hit the hardest by COVID-19.

An artists known as Low Key Art publicly thanked health care workers with the mural of a woman wearing a medical mask at Lincoln Street and Lafayette Street.

The artist told NewsChannel 5 he wanted to create something positive in the South Nashville community and shine a spotlight on essential workers.

He hopes the mural reminds everyone to stay safe, because no matter where you live, everyone is struggling from the coronavirus.
