Southwest Plane Stopped In Nashville Before Explosion

The Southwest Airlines flight that experienced engine failure and ultimately killed a passenger had spent time in Nashville before making its way to Dallas.

According Flight Radar 24, the plane traveled from Nashville to New York.

Passengers say after the explosion, shrapnel broke a window and the woman was partially sucked out of the plane.

Those on board say the plane dropped dramatically and ash began coming in through the vents.

The plane landed safely in Philly, where help arrived. It was on its way from New York to Dallas.
