Southwest to add nonstop seasonal flights from Nashville to Puerto Rico

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Pack your bags! Southwest Airlines has revealed its summer schedule at Nashville International Airport.

The airline’s summer schedule runs from June 7 – August 10, 2020. One of the highlights includes weekly, nonstop flights from Nashville to San Juan, Puerto Rico.

“This is terrific news for BNA and adds to the increasing roster of nonstop destinations available to our market,” said Doug Kreulen, BNA president and CEO. “Passenger demand remains strong in Middle Tennessee and we’re delighted that Southwest Airlines continues to respond so favorably to the opportunities here. In the end, it means more travel options and better fares for the community we serve.”

Southwest is also adding new weekly destinations from BNA to Portland, Maine, and Portland, Oregon. The announcement also includes first-time daily service to Omaha, Nebraska, and Norfolk, Virginia.

On Tuesday, BNA also announced a new, seasonal nonstop route from Nashville to Montreal, Canada via Air Canada.
