A Spring Hill police officer was involved in a three-vehicle crash while transporting an inmate.
The incident happened Monday morning in Columbia’s jurisdiction. The patrol car was apparently struck by another vehicle which forced it into a charter bus.
Both the officer and prisoner were transported; however, their injuries were not believed to be serious.
It’s unclear if anyone in the other car was hurt.
No one was on the charter bus at the time of the crash.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol was investigating the crash.
