17-year-old Spring Hill girl, 16-year-old Indiana boy found safe in DeKalb County

SPRING HILL, Tenn. (WTVF) — The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation said a Spring Hill girl and Indiana boy have been found safe in Dekalb County.

An Endangered Child Alert for 17-year-old Brooke Ciolkosz was issued on Saturday. It was believed she was with 16-year-old Dawson Brink, who reportedly left his home in Indiana with an AR-15 and a handgun.

Both children were considered endangered but were found safe on Sunday morning.

Spring Hill police said Brooke Ciolkosz is believed to have left with Dawson Brink on Saturday morning. Investigators said they are riding in a white 1996 Dodge Dakota with a possible Indiana license plate of TK396NNM.

The TBI said Brink took the truck from his home without permission and also left with an AR-15, a handgun, and a large amount of ammunition. .
