The funeral has been scheduled for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet employee who was killed while plowing snow.

Authorities with KYTC said the funeral for 44-year-old Chris Adams has been planned for noon Friday at Saints Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Hopkinsville, Kentucky.

Adams was found dead Saturday after the plow he was driving slid off the road in Christian County.

Officials said the family has extended an invitation to his coworkers and fellow employees to attend his funeral, and they encouraged KYTC personnel to wear their Hi-Viz road gear and uniforms.

KYTC representatives said members of the Christian County Highway Maintenance Crew planned to serve as pallbearers, and a KYTC truck was set to lead the funeral procession from the church to the cemetery after the funeral service.
