A man has been arrested after driving a vehicle through the Memorial Day cross display at a park in Henderson, Kentucky.
Saturday, police said they arrested Anthony Burrus in connection to the crime.
The car Burrus was driving, a 1979 Ford Thunderbird, was found abandoned at McDonald's on South Green Street.
Pieces of a cross and stake to hold the cross together were found embedded in the tires.
Police said the scheduled memorial service set for Monday in Henderson was still planned to happen at 10 a.m.
