3 Charged After Alleged Bomb Threat

Posted

Three people have been charged after allegedly making at least one bomb threat at a business in Lincoln County.

Officials said the three were charged Thursday after it was believed they were responsible for making the threat at Goodman Manufacturing.

One of the men, Corey Cozad, was an employee of Goodman at the time of the threat.

Cozad along with two others, Zachary Posey and Tyler Petty, have all been charged with making a false report and criminal conspiracy.

Authorities said Cozad was being held on a $65,000 bond, while Posey and Petty had their bonds set at $70,000 each.

Officials were continuing to investigate other threats made at Goodman, along with the help of the FBI, TBI, U.S. Marshalls Service, and several other federal, state and local agencies.

In addition, authorities said Posey and Petty, along with Amberly Coats, had been charged with theft under $500 and burglary.

Those additional charges stemmed from an incident in November at Lincoln Medical Center where Coats was an employee at the time of the incident.
